Fish Rougaille
Rougaille is a typical ‘Mauritian Creole’ sauce using plum tomatoes, onions, garlic, thyme and chillies which when added to the delicate flavours of the fresh fish and allowed to gently stew in that tomato-based sauce, turns into something so divine. It’s an INCREDIBLE dish and we are thrilled to be able to offer this Fish Rougaille (aka. “Rougaille Poisson”) to everyone here in NS!
This rougaille dish is typically eaten with rice or even fresh bread (amazing with a fresh french baguette), accompanied with different salads or sides. It’s such a crowd-pleasing dish… so don’t hesitate to invite a few friends over before ordering this Friday’s supper feast from us!
